‘Dewanbag Sharif’ founded by Sufi Emperor Hazrat Syed Mahbub-E-Khoda (Rh.) is a renowned religious institution based on Sufism. In order to preach Mohammadi Islam, the Darbar Sharif was established on September 26, 1985 (Muharram 10, 1406 Hijri) at Dewanbag in Narayanganj district of Bangladesh. Afterward, its activities were expanded all over the globe including all the districts of Bangladesh in turn. At present, all the activities of Mohammadi Islam are conducted from Babe Rahmat, Dewanbag Sharif situated at Motijheel, the heart of the capital city Dhaka of Bangladesh. The institution aims at implementing globally the divine ideals of peace, harmony, brotherhood, sacrifice, forgiveness, and kindness that is Mohammadi Islam which Allah, the Highest gave to mankind for their salvation through His beloved friend Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
The graceful character of Sufi Emperor Hujur Qibla as well as his updated religious thoughts and philosophy, unparalleled wisdom, profound religious and spiritual knowledge overwhelm the civil society including the educationists, researchers, religious scholars, and intellectuals around the world. Dewanbag Sharif offers four fundamental teachings of Islam for the spiritual development of an individual- Self Purification, Awakening heart, Meditation in prayer, and becoming a beloved of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Sufi Emperor Hazrat Dewanbagi (Rh.) Hujur Qiblajan established 11 Darbar Sharif and several hundred Khankah and Jaker Majlish in 132 countries including Bangladesh to guide the seekers to the last level in their journey to reach Allah. The disciples are taught Wazifa (daily activities) prescribed by Sufi Emperor Hujur Qiblajan five times a day after prayer in these Darbar, Khankah, and Jaker Majlish. Hundreds of thousands of people from home and abroad, attending the yearly Ashek-E-Rasul (SAW.) conference, receive necessary guidance for their religious and spiritual practice. The religious books published by Dewanbag Sharif quench the spiritual thirst of the Allah-fearing devotees of the Prophet (PBUH) by exploring the great secrets about the Creator and the creations. Sufi Emperor Hujur Qibla detects more than a hundred flaws that entered Islam over the last 14 hundred years and correct them to bring Islam back to its original form. Eighteen of his religious reforms have already been recognized and implemented by the Bangladesh government.
Syed Mahbub-E-Khoda Dewanbagi (Rh.) was born on December 14, 1949 in an aristocratic family in the subdistrict of Ashuganj in Brahmanbaria district of Bangladesh. He is a descendant of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), the founder of the religion of Islam. His ancestors migrated from Madina, Saudi Arabia to Bengal of the then Indian subcontinent via Qatar to preach Islam. Sufi Emperor Hujur Qiblajan breathed his last on December 27,2020 leaving crores of his devotees across the world in tears. At present, Imam Dr. Arsafm Qudrat E Khoda (m.a), the second son of Sufi Emperor Hujur Qibla is leading Mohammadi Islam according to the will he made before his demise.
