Tafsir is an Arabic word. Tafsir is used both as singular and plural. Its dictionary meaning is - uncover, describe, make secret and unclear thing visible, express clear and comprehensible meaning. In terminology, Tafsir is the name of such an explanatory study by which the underlying meaning of Al-Quran can be discovered. Or Tafsir is such a study so that people, according to their capacity, focus on what Allah has meant for which verse or word of Al-Quran. The use of this word is not noticed in the Arabic language and literature before the the appearance of Rasul (Sm). Only in case of the explanation analysis of the verses of Al-Quran the use of this word is noticed.
The identity of the Magnificent Allah, His beautiful luminous face has been described in this Tafsir Sharif. How is Allah to see? Musannef answered to this question much beautifully. The description of the complete identity the Holy Spirit of the Magnificent Allah has been presented in first part of the Tafsir Sharif. After describing the Holy Spirit, the author of the Tafsir Sharif has concentrated on presenting the reality of the Sifat or attributes of Allah. And while writing Tafsir on the attributes of Allah, Musannef has planned to complete the Tafsir on Sifat in 7 parts. And now he is engaged in writing the sixth one of the incomplete parts.
No typical style has been followed in this Tafsir. He hasn't made Tafsir of 30 sections of the Quran. Rather he has found out the verses associated with the identity of Allah from the Quran. By finding out the identity of Allah in His own language and descriptions, he has presented it in front of His servants. In this case, he has explained the words of Allah through the words of Hazrat Rasul (Sm).
That means - when the Magnificent Allah revealed Ohi in the heart of Hazrat Rasul (Sm), he expressed the words of that Ohi to the Sahaba-e-Keram. And the explanation Hazrat Rasul (Sm) provided while expressing it, Sufi Samrat has explained the words of Allah through those words of Rasul (Sm). As a result, while studying this Tafsir Sharif, it will seem to the readers that they are studying the Tafsir or explanation of the congregation of Rasul (Sm) in his period. To finish the task sincerely, Sufi Samrat has collected rare books Tafsir and Hadith - the rare books of starting from the golden age of Islam to the modern age which have been compiled by unanimously recognised wise persons. He has collected such as Tafsire Imam Hossain, Tafsire Imam Ali, Tafsire Ibne Abbas, Musnade Imam Ali, Musnade Fatematuz Zohra, Musnade Imam Hassan, Tafsire Ibnul Arabi, Tafsire Tusturi etc and besides these there are also the books of Tafsir and Hadith compiled by the Imams of the four Mazhabs in his collection. Besides, in the personal library of Sufi Samrat there are hundreds of books of Tafsir and Hadith the description of which, if made, will form a small booklet.
But it is a matter of surprise that it is true that this huge library is playing a helpful role in presenting the philosophy of Sufi Samrat but he has seen Allah and obtained His identity before this task of presenting the identity of Allah. The source of his knowledge is not Elmul Qitab. This great-man is learned with the knowledge the Prophets and Rasuls were learned with. And that is Elmul Qalb. The sphere of knowledge Rahmatullil Alamin Hazrat Rasul (Sm) opened during meditation in the Cave of Hera, through the endless flow of that spring the Holy Quran came to him. Though this knowledge was called the knowledge of Ohi in the period of Nabuyat, it is called the knowledge of Elham in the period of Belayat. Sufi Samrat Huzur Qiblajan is the greatest friend of Allah in the period of Belayat. He possesses the Ruhul Kuddus or Ruhul Amin or Ruhe Aham, the Holy Spirit of Allah which sent Ohi from the sphere of Nafsir the seventh sphere of Qalb to the sphere of Sudur of the Ambia-e-Keram. This is because Sufi Samrat is a promised great-man. He is a preacher of the religion of Allah. He is led by the wills of Allah. Sufi Samrat Hazrat Dewanbagi (Maddazilluhul-Ali) Huzur says, 'I have been hearing from childhood that Allah is shapeless. He can't be seen during the worldly life. But through the ascetic practice of Elmul Qalb when I obtained Didar of Allah, when He kindly talked to me, I noticed that - the Magnificent Allah is not formless and shapeless. His Nur has shape.' While describing the shape of Allah, Sufi Samrat says, 'Allah is exactly like a human to see, but a human possesses a body of blood and flesh and Allah is of Nur. This word of Sufi Samrat is helping a believer to comprehend the identity of Allah. He is the only Great-man by whose words the complete identity of Allah has been revealed. And this word of him is the reflection of his practical seeing, direct experience and face-to-face conversation of a friend with a friend. In support to this word of Sufi Samrat, 723 verses of the Holy Quran and 2808 Hadiths were found, which he has written while describing the identity of the Holy Spirit of Allah in the first part of the Tafsir Sharif. Actually, describing the identity of Allah is not a normal incident. This task was of the Ambia-e-Keram in the period of Nabuyat. In the period of Belayat this task is assigned to the Awlia-e-Keram.
The author of Tafsire Sufi Samrat Dewanbagi says, 'I know Allah in such the way a child knows its father.' Sufi Samrat is a Great-man with the power of Elham. By knowing the wills of Allah, he obeys religion and directs his followers.
In support to his every word there is found the verse of the Quran and Hadith. None of his words mismatches with the Quran. The reason of it was once asked to Sufi Samrat in the Al-Quran Research Centre. He kindly replied, 'The verse of the Quran and the word of mine are not supposed to be different. Because the Magnificent Allah who was prevalent among all the Ambia-e-Keram starting from Hazrat Adam (A) to Hazrat Rasul (Sm), is also prevalent inside me. So, as the Allah is one, speeches are not supposed to be different.' In relevance to this, Sufi Samrat says in another day, 'Mohammadi Islam is the religion of Allah and Rasul (Sm), not mine. To carry on the religion is the responsibility of those who possess it. I have been set forward only. I can't do anything outside the will of Allah.'
Originally, 'Tafsire Sufi Samrat Dewanbagi' is an invaluable book. It is the book where the greatest Sufi has expressed as he has seen the Magnificent Allah through his Inner-eye. Sufi Samrat has presented the picture of the life hereafter and the reality of the spiritual world. Actually, in this Tafsir Sharif the structure of the religion of Allah has been revealed by such an artist who, by seeing his beloved, is active to bring forth His identity.
Actually, the true philosophy of salvation of humanity has been presented in Tafsir Sharif of Sufi Samrat. This philosophy is everlasting, irrefutable, and inviolable; it is the direction of right path for the wayward, provision for a wayfarer, Sharaban Tahura for the lovers of Allah, and it is a flawless philosophy of life.
